Installation is nearly complete for “Space Is The Place”, the Center’s Annual Black Doll Exhibit.
The opening is this Saturday, December 8th from 2-5p.m., so please join us to celebrate the artists and the upcoming holidays with WGSAC’s annual tradition! The Black Doll show was founded in the 1980s, and brings together a variety of black dolls from around the country into one exhibit, the majority of which are made by artists and/or come from important doll collections. It will be installed in the Center through January 26, 2013. Here is a preview of some of the beautiful dolls shared this year by artists, but come see them in person this Saturday (more artists to be showcased on the web throughout the show, too)!
