What's Happening This Week

m.a.m.a. earth’s ONE PEACE Charity Art Show

In June, The William Grant Still Arts Center will host a two-day event organized by m.a.m.a. earth, the 3rd Annual ONE PEACE Charity Art Show. Activities will include a hands-on art project, live screen-printing, DJs, music and dance performances, and an art exhibit.

The exhibit, curated by Kiana Cornish and Andrea Miller, will present new offerings from emerging and established artists. Participating artists include Marley Van Peebles, Ronda Brown, Loren Holland, Ise Lyfe, Nzuji de Magalhães, and Yu Maeda.

The ONE PEACE show is FREE and open to the public. The weekend will raise funds for ALTER, m.a.m.a.earth’s after-school arts & writing program at Crenshaw High School.

m.a.m.a. earth stands for mothers about making amends.
