The William Grant Still Arts Center presents a solo exhibition highlighting the work of Teresa Tolliver, a seminal figure in the California Assemblage Movement, featuring mixed media work ranging from sculpture to painting. Tolliver’s work brings in discarded surplus, from industrial objects to ultra-femme accessories, and transforms dystopian commerce and reproduction into utopian idealism.
